Now your are ready to start ArtiCAD for the first time, to do this double click on the desktop shortcut icon.
After a couple of seconds the Splash Screen will appear:
As this is the first time using the program, when ArtiCAD has loaded, and before entering the design screen, you will be prompted to enter your business details. You will not see this screen again:
After entering your company details click OK.
The next screen displayed will be the main ArtiCAD design area. See Getting Started.
If you wish to change your company details, click the "Special" menu then "Edit Global INI". Select the "ArtiCAD Customer" tab.
Click "Save" to store your changes.

To activate your ArtiCAD licence, click "File" - "Activate ArtiCAD".
Included in your software pack will be a letter on which you will find your nineteen-digit activation code. Type this code into the "Product Key" box and click the "Activate" button.
NOTE - your system will run as a restricted "Trial" system until you activate it. If you have not activated your system within 30 days you will no longer be able to use ArtiCAD until you enter the code.
